AMBIENT SOUNDSCAPES AND SOUND DESIGN
In VISA 206, I studied sound design and its many facets. This included an ASMR Project, an ambient soundscape of nature and man-made sounds, and sound design for a project in collaboration with Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association. Our class was tasked with creating audio and sound effects to help tell the stories of the Kettle Valley Railway. These sound clips would be used in tandem with an app, that visitors of Myra Canyon could listen to the history of the area as they walked. The audio I created was used as a mockup to help present the project idea.
